HKKT Fund Donates Three Million Baht to Pabuk Victims in the South

Khiang Khang Thai Fund Donates Three Million Baht to Pabuk Victims in the South at “Ruamnamjaithai to Help Southern Flood Victims” Event

BANGKOK 7 JAN 2019

The Honda Khiang Khang Thai Fund (HKKT Fund), under the Honda Thailand Foundation led by Mr. Pitak Pruttisarikorn (Right), Managing Director of the Honda Kiang Khang Thai Fund, and Mr. Voraphoch Phornprapha (Left), a committee member of the Honda Thailand Foundation, donated three million baht to help Thai people who were affected by the recent tropical storm “Pabuk” in 212,784 households in 18 southern provinces during the “Ruamnamjaithai to Help Southern Flood Victims” event. The donation was received by Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand, during the event, which took place at the Operation Building, MCOT Public Company Limited, on January 7.

The Honda Khiang Khang Thai Fund, under the Honda Thailand Foundation, was founded by the Honda Group of Companies in Thailand, which includes Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Asian Honda Motor Co. Ltd.  Contributions to the fund originate with a donation by Honda for every Honda product sold in Thailand. These contributions are allocated to an emergency fund used to help Thai people who are affected by natural disasters such as floods, landslides, severely cold temperatures, and droughts, as well as related activities that benefit all Thai people. The Honda Khiang Khang Thai Fund is part of Honda’s commitment to being a company that Thai society wants to exist.
